the separation

so, this is possibly just to test out the new imeem system, but this version hasn't yet been posted, so here it is. this is the most recent version, edited and mixed by blake - perhaps he can add anything i miss. there's new guitar bits, and the backing has stripped down to give everything more space.

dude-it is only 30 seconds long for me. 'but i lose myself' is now the full 4 minutes and a bit now though.

exactly the same thing is happening here.

maybe it's an issue with the song on imeem - when i upload it says that it has to be processed. perhaps it's something to do with that. i'm able to play the entire track at the moment. how is it for you guys now?

ok. i've worked it out. when i'm logged into imeem, i get the full track played on the blog, when i log out, i only get 30 seconds.

martin kennedy from all india radio put me onto it, and on their blog you can hear everything, regardless of whether you're logged in or not, so there must be some setting i can adjust, i'll look into it.

at worst, for the moment, you can log in to imeem and here the whole track - though that kind of defeats the purpose in the long run!

well, i can hear the full version of but i lose myself but only 30 seconds of the separation when i'm not logged in. perhaps that's just the timeframe of how things work with imeem - it might take 24 hours or something for it to become completely available without being logged in. i'll check the separation again tomorrow night and see if things change with it.
