'The Quest For Love Aboard The Belafonte' is lead single from the album 'Love On The Second Stair'. It features the original version and three remixes. Actual Russian Brides push the track through abstract 8-bits and bouncing sub-bass. Karoshi redresses the song in his own lush chord arrangements and down-tempo groove. Telafonica recast their own track as a dark triptych with vocal cutups, abrasive grooves and bit-crushed melancholy.

The single is available for free download through 4-4-2 Music.

the download details have been sent to everyone there, but physical copies are still under construction. my laptop has decided to be picky and choosy about burning discs. which reminds me - blake, are you able to burn maybe 40 copies in the next couple of days for me if i give you the discs?

This is so pretty. I love it. It makes me think of Telafonica as being legitimate in my head.

as in you are legitimately part of telafonica, as opposed to a session muso?

Something like that. As in, I've had something to do with the making of this track and have seen it in the early stages and then come to fruition, so I feel like Telafonica for me isn't a preexisting band that I've joined, but a band that I'm in. If that makes sense.
